4-H Poetry -- Vibrant Clubs
Product Description
While many people think poems need to rhyme, they do not. A poem is a series of words to paint pictures in the mind of the reader. The poet (or author of the poem) chooses words for their meaning, sound, or rhythm.
For this activity, you will need to create your own list of 4-H vocabulary—words or terms that are familiar to 4-H youth. Or use the word bank provided at the end of the lesson. If using word magnets, it is recommended to store them on a cookie sheet or other magnetic surface.
