In Iowa, foster parents must complete 6 hours of training each year to renew their foster care license. The Science of Parenting eCourses are approved by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services for foster parent training credit. Each course is worth 1.5 hours of credit. By completing all 4 courses, you can fulfill your full annual training requirement.
