Product Description

Frost-damaged soybeans, which are unsuitable for processing, can be used in livestock feed. Raw frost-damaged soybeans can serve as a protein source for beef cattle and sheep but must be limited to less than 14% of the diet's dry matter. For swine, the beans must be heat-treated, but they can fully replace soybean meal and even improve feed efficiency. The economic viability of using the soybeans depends on the overall cost of the final diet.
