There is a growing opportunity, and need, for rational crop residue harvest. Historically, crop residue retention has been encouraged to maintain and improve soil health. However, along with grain yield, the amount of residue production is increasing every year with grain yield, which creates significant agronomic and environmental challenges. This publication covers how Partial residue harvest may be a good approach to address these challenges.
